Miami Winwood Arts District

Ten years ago, many Miamians had never heard of a neigborhood called Wynwood. A nondescript warehouse district occupying some of Miami's most battered streets, it hosted few workers and almost no visitors. But then came Tony Godman. Now the buildings are alive with art galleries, restaurants and retail, and Second Saturday Art walks cause what can only be described as pandemonium. How did Goldman manage such a transformation in such a short time? Well, he had a little practice.
